This engagement, courtesy of Bishop Marlow, was a great engagement. Our tracks stalled so we had the opportunity to sing a couple of acapella songs until our track came back online. The sound was excellent and the energy in the building was out of this world. We had a tremendous time at the church! God showed up fo real!

Oct 13, 2007 New Antioch Christian Fellowship Las Vegas NV

We were able to slide into this gig last minute thanks to our brother Marlow (Bishop M). There were some sound issues but the crowd seemed to enjoy us and get with us pretty good. We met some fabulous people and started some relationships we hope to have in the years to come! All in all a good event!

Oct 13, 2007 G.L.O.W. Women's Conference Las Vegas NV United States

This marked our longest trek yet and our first one out of state. We left at 12:30 am Saturday morning to be in Vegas by 8:00 am. It was a long ride with many stops to fill up cars and such with members in 2 cars trying to get sleep whenever possible. We made it there safely (obviously or we wouldn't be writing this lol) and the ladies did an awesome job ministering P&W to the ladies in attendance. According to the ladies the conference was off the hook!

Aug 12, 2007 Unified Body of Christ Fresno Ca USA

We had a good time at this engagement. Sound wasn't the best but it was a decent and responsive crowd, so we had fun doing what we do!

Aug 11, 2007 Dante Club Fresno Ca USA

Unfortunately we didn't get to perform this show because they didn't have the backline necessary to support our set. Needless to say we were very disappointed, but as usual we will move forward.

Jul 7, 2007 Pilibos Community Park Fresno Ca USA

This ended up being a cool engagement. It was aimed at the surrounding community and it was pretty well attended. We didn't sell a whole lot of cds but anytime you can be a part of something where 2 people ended up giving their lives to the Lord, it's a good day! God showed up as He always does!

Jun 30, 2007 Victory Church Fresno Ca USA

This was a interesting experience because this was the first time we were able to perform our CMA set that we didn't get to do and the reaction to it was outstanding! Everything the set was designed to do went off without a hitch and the crowd really got with us! We were the only urban contemporary group in a sea of hip hop artists but that turned out well for us. Most importantly several young people came to the Lord which was awesome!

Jun 15, 2007 Save Mart Center Fresno Ca USA

S&T, once again the victim of terrible circumstances, followed all directions given to us, but while waiting for our music to cue up were skipped over and were unable to perform the 7 minute set we spent over 3 months preparing for. Jared and Beth were able to perform in the ensemble who sang background for Martha Munizzi, Byron Cage, as well as some interludes for different awards. So S&T represented, but this still was a extremely disappointing day in the S&T History. We only took solace in the fact that God must have something bigger and better in store for us. Thanks for all of you who are praying for us on a daily basis!

May 18, 2007 First Baptist Church Fresno Ca United States

This was a nice event to raise money for children in Haiti. We were actually one of the only groups who Tonex got to hear. The crowd was semi responsive, but we had a good time anyway. Tonex tore it up as usual though! It was for a good cause and we shared the stage with several up and coming artists including our good friend Keysha.

May 6, 2007 Los Banos Fair Grounds Los Banos Ca USA

This was a very fun trip. Our good friend and gospel artist Keysha held a concert in her home town for cinco de mayo and she invited us to come and do a set. We had a decent crowd although they stuck us in the back by the farm animals. LOL but we along with THA Gim and Keysha made them take notice and come over. We got to enjoy the fair after it was over which is always a good eating experience. Overall a good time had by all!

Apr 19, 2007 Judah First Church Clovis Ca United States

This was a fun venue because the church was set up like a theater. Actually it used to actually be a movie theater! We did have some sound issues but of course that seems to be an S&T staple (LOL). The crowd was great and the Lord made His presence known.

Mar 31, 2007 San Diego Soccer Park San Diego ca USA

This was the longest road trip to date for Spirit & Truth. We left Friday afternoon at about 4:30. We arrived in San Diego at around 10:15 or so. We were minus Bianca who couldn't make it. There was a void there, but we had a smooth and fun ride up there. We spent the night and then got up on Saturday ate breakfast and went out there to the soccer park. We had a great time ministering to the people! We made some contacts and got some fans for our e-mail list as well. But most of all we just did what we do and had a great time doing it. We were able to go to a soul food restaurant owned by the brother of the main contact for the event. The food was off the hook! On the way back home we worked on some original music and even started collectively writing a new song which was fun! We got most of this trip on video in some candid footage. Check out our media page or home page in the near future! Overall it was a great trip and we hope to have many like it!

Mar 17, 2007 Westside Seventh Day Adventist Church Fresno Ca United States

This was a very good but very sad opportunity to minister. This was a charity benefit for a 12 year old girl that was in the final stages of cancer. We donated a percentage of any sales from this event to her and her family. Her name was Starla and within about a month after this she passed away. Just a reminder about how every minute counts in the service of the Lord.

Feb 25, 2007 St. Rest Missionary Baptist Church Fresno Ca United States

We had a great time kicking off the show! The place was packed and we were extremely well received! We sang an acapella number "Lily in the Valley" which appealed to the older crowd. Then we ended the set with Give Him the Praise! We had loads of fun.

Feb 24, 2007 Clovis Hills Community Church Clovis Ca United States

Originally this was supposed to be Vickie Winans, but she backed out at the last minute and ACOP was fortunate enough to get phenomenal vocalist Kelly Price to take her place. It was an honor sharing the same stage with her and more importantly she was very down to earth and not 'starrish' at all. She tore the house down and we were able to perform for a good number of people as well! One of the year's best highlights so far.

Feb 18, 2007 New Faith Apostolic Church Merced Ca United States

This was one of those short road trips. We caravaned up there. The church was small but the crowd was definitely hype as they always are when we go up there. We ministered about 5 songs much to the delight of the mostly young crowd. God showed up as He always does!

Feb 3, 2007 St. John's Baptist Church Long Beach Ca

This is the longest trip for the group up to this point. Travelling about 4 hours to Long Beach right outside of L.A. It was a fun road trip with 4 people in each car. The event didn't go as smoothly as the trip up there, with sound continuing to be a factor with us. We were a little hampered by the mic cord lengths as well as the apparent shortage of mics, but we persevered in spite up and really had fun ministering. We were very well received by the crowd and we were able to become fast friends with a group called United (TruLyfe Records) which was cool. All in all, it was a very productive trip.

Jan 14, 2007 Radisson Convention Center Fresno Ca USA

We started the year off right with an unprecedented opportunity to sing at the Drum Major For Justice Awards which honors different activists for Civil Rights in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. This very upscale event is always well attended and was a tremendous opportunity to gain some exposure. We had to improvise with some sound issues the day of, but we came through and the event went very well. Louis Gossett Jr. was the honoree and his speech was very inspirational. This started off a barrage of engagements in the first 3 months for us!
